About us

Impearly is a live, trainer-led language academy built for people with a deadline — a university intake, a visa appointment, a relocation, a client call. Not a subscription you forget about in March.

The ladder

CEFR is the framework European employers, universities and immigration offices actually read. We teach to it rung by rung, and we tell you which rung you're standing on before you pay for anything.

How far the ladder goes depends on the language: German A1–C2 · French A1–C2 · Spanish A1–C2 · Italian A1–C2 · Portuguese A1–C2 · Russian A1–C2 · Japanese N5–N1 · Korean Levels 1–6 · Arabic A1–C2 · Chinese HSK 1–9.

A minimal visual path representing progress through language levels
  1. A1Breakthrough

Introduce yourself, order food, ask for directions, fill in a form.

Sound and script first. You speak in the first class, not the fifth.

  2. A2Waystage

Handle everyday exchanges and routine tasks with simple past and future.

Drills give way to short unscripted conversations with your trainer.

  3. B1Threshold

Hold your own when a conversation stops following the script.

The level most work visas and vocational programmes ask for — so exam prep starts here.

  4. B2Vantage

Discuss and argue fluently and spontaneously, without visible strain.

What most German universities and employers require. Mock exams under real time limits.

  5. C1Advanced

Study or work professionally in the language, catching implicit meaning.

Small advanced groups, register and idiom, written work marked line by line.

  6. C2Mastery

Near-native precision for academic and specialist work.

One-to-one only, built around your field. Currently German.

Our mission

To get people to the level they actually need — for a course, a visa, a job or a move — with live expert teaching, honest timelines and mentorship that treats your goal as the point. Premium language education without the premium theatre.

Our vision

To become the multilingual academy learners recommend by name — a place where every language on the catalogue is taught to certification standard, and where the person who finishes B2 comes back for C1 because the first climb was worth it.

How a class actually runs

You're about to hand over months and a fee. Here is exactly what you get for it.

  • A live trainer, every session

No pre-recorded video pretending to be a class. If your trainer is unwell, the session is rescheduled — not replaced with a playlist.

  • Small groups, or one-to-one

Group batches stay small enough that everyone speaks in every class. If you'd rather not share the room at all, one-to-one is a standing option.

  • Recorded for you, not instead of you

Every class is recorded so you can revisit it. Attendance still matters — the recording is revision, not a substitute.

  • Rescheduling is normal, not a penalty

Weekday, weekend and early-morning batches exist because jobs and semesters exist. Tell your coordinator and we move you.

What we're accountable for

  • 01

    Exam-mapped curriculum

Every level maps to a real certification syllabus from the first class, so exam prep isn't a separate course you pay for twice.

Open language workbook arranged as a structured path to certification
  • 02

    The confidence gap, closed

Knowing grammar and being able to speak are different skills. We drill the second one deliberately, because it's the one that fails under pressure.

Two learners connected through a live conversation
  • 03

A mentor who knows your goal

Studying in Berlin and relocating to Québec need different vocabularies. Your plan is built around which one you're doing.

  • 04

    Support past the last class

Certification booking guidance, document help and placement support continue after your batch ends.

How we operate

Four rules that decide what we say no to.

  • Say the true thing

If B2 will take you fourteen months, we say fourteen months. Nobody is talked into a level or a language that won't serve them.

  • Teach to the exam and past it

A certificate you can't back up in conversation is a liability. We prepare for both, and treat the exam as the floor.

  • One person owns your progress

A named coordinator, reachable on WhatsApp, who knows your batch and your goal — not a rotating support queue.

  • Technology should be invisible

Portal, recordings, tests and attendance exist to remove friction. When the tooling starts needing explanation, we've failed.

Why learners come to us

They learn it to get somewhere. These are the reasons on our enrolment forms, in the order we hear them.

  • Higher education abroad
